La izquierda brasileña y los efectos de percepción de las fake news

Resumen

Este artículo investiga La hipótesis del efecto de tercera persona relacionada com lãs fake news difundidas em Facebook. Estudiamos cómo la izquierda evalúa (n = 1317) los efectos de las fake news sobre sí misma y sobre los demás. Evaluamos las siguientes variables: i) la capacidad de identificar fake news, ii) la frecuencia de La verificación de fuentes, iii) la experiencia previa de compartir fake news. Los resultados muestran que las personas tienden a sobreestimar el efecto negativo de las fake news en grupos distantes y subestiman los efectos en uno mismo. La discrepância tiende a aumentar entre quienes se consideran seguros para identificar noticias falsas y quienes revisan las fuentes.
