The work proposes to discuss the participation of active audience on the news broadcasting from two research lines: the social pressure agenda and the institutions fragility. The article provides an example of participatory experiences in the news program "Calendar", which appears in NETV of Northeast Globo Channel and spreads to other network affiliates.
