Territory and Life in Indigenous Activism

The relationships between territory and life, central to indigenous activism, are understood in networked audiovisual flows. We mapped, as an analytical practice of articulation, communicational forms of political confrontation that constitute indigenous struggles in networked audiovisual flows related to the Levante Pela Terra, Luta Pela Vida and Marcha Nacional das Mulheres Indígenas mobilizations. We highlight the propositions of demarcating screens and reforesting minds as communicational forms that articulate affects in values, meanings, territorialities and political agendas in experiments, rearticulations and possibilities for transforming hegemonic formations of communication and territory.
