This article reflects on journalism as a historical-cultural practice, whose understanding must consider geopolitical and cultural issues, which both cross it and are crossed by it. This movement allows us to investigate about which values move contemporary journalism. Our hypothesis is that there are, today, ways of doing journalism that help us to think new meaning this practice in under a relational paradigm. When analyzing a set of narratives that trigger multiple protagonists and territorialities, we propose considering narrative and journalistic agenda as speculative instances; instruments that, used in favor of the complexity of facts, make possible the journalism we seek to recognize.
