A Violência na sua dimensão semiótica

This work has the intention of reflecting upon some of the conceptual apparatus which permeate part of the transdisciplinary research “Urban space criminality: the transversalities of violence” that has been developed at Unisinos, which has, amongst its foci, mediatic processes. It is postulated that violence has a semiotic dimension which would be linked to the particular origin of signs in the human species and the development of and conflicts of order in the semiosphere space. An understanding of the dynamics of these, often explosive, semioses is sought and a verification that there are certain mediatic operations in which this dimension is up to date and ritualized. A greater understanding of the logic of these processalities is sought as are the possibilities of affirmative insertion in the most vulnerable communities.Downloads
